For the past 5 years I have been concentrating on painting and painting only. It has been and still is one of the most fulfilling and creative practices one could explore and that’s for so many wonderful reasons. While I’ll never be done in this area of life, I do feel as though I have arrived at a place I’ve been searching for, for a long time. Maybe this feeling will pass and is only temporary state of being
but the portraits I’ve completing recently have been in my sights for quite some time. My work as a painting artist is continuing at full force and the exploration of modern and vintage characters of cinematic and fashionable stature will bear down like dropping an anchor and digging for oil. Let’s see what comes up!
After a 5-year hiatus from my life as a touring musician, I’m ready to re-introduce creating and performing music back into my life. Plans are being made with a record label in Houston, Texas, on how we release new music in 2025. All will be discussed and explored in great depth, and I will be sharing everything here first. It’s thrilling beyond belief and sometimes you must take a break to re fuel the engines.
I have been running this Patreon for a little over 12 months and already involved are a core group of members that have watched me struggle in the studio while searching for my style. Their presence, encouragement and interest alongside those long hours, has given me strength when I’ve needed it the most and in return, I’ve shared what it is that makes it all tick. This journey never stops, and the creativity never ends but now is a period for rebirth, replenishment and reinvention.
To run alongside the release of new music as well as new artwork it’s a great time to relaunch my Patreon page and open it up for more people to get involved. Whether you love music or art I’m offering new and exclusive opportunities to enable the sharing of the wider artistic journey with those who are more invested than a casual follower.
